ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has admitted fathering a child with a member of his household staff.
The revelation follows the former California governor's split from his wife of 25 years, MARIA SHRIVER.
Terminator star Arnie got a female employee pregnant around 10 years ago, he confessed last night.
In a statement, the blockbuster action man issued a profuse apology to his family and estranged spouse.
He said: "After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago.
"I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family.
"There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
It's claimed Maria moved out after learning of the actor's infidelity earlier this year.
When she confronted him with the allegation, Arnie reportedly confessed.
The member of staff, whose identity has not been revealed, had worked for the family for 20 years before retiring in January, insisting she had "left on good terms with them".
The mystery woman had claimed her then-husband was the child's father until Arnie came clean yesterday.
Arnie's reputation as a womaniser grew in 2003 during his first campaign for governor when more than a dozen women came forward claiming the actor had groped them over a period of many years.
He initially denied the allegations, but later apologised for any offence caused.
Maria and Arnie announced their break-up last week, saying: "After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision.
"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us."
This dude sure has a lot of skeletons in his closet I wonder what's next. One things for sure he's a habitual cheater.
